The Rest of the Story…

Today I have decided to post the rest of the book I have made for my parents’ anniversary.  Life is so crazy right now with graduations, birthdays and weddings that I have become very overwhelmed!  I apologize for not updating my blog but hopefully you will be inspired by todays post for a few days!!!  If you have any questions about any of the pages, just let me know!  Thanks and God Bless!

I did a double page layout for each season.  I knew there would be various pictures my mom would want to scrapbook that wouldn’t fall into traditional categories so I created these pages.

Our Years in Texas Layout

Today’s layout is cut with MTC. 

On several of the layouts there are hidden journaling tags.  I cut all of the tags exactly the same so that my mom could put them where ever she needed. 

I love this simple star brads from Making Memories!  They added the perfect touch to this layout!

The Wedding Layout

 

Today’s post is of the double-page layout I made for my parent’s wedding day.  I used the Sweethearts cartridge for all the die cuts.  I used MS Word to create the title and the journaling block.

My dad wore a gold, patterned tux!  I guess that was the style!  I used the Devine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder and some gold embossing powder to give it a more realistic look.  The background for the “Mr. & Mrs.” is cut with an Imagine stock image and colored using the Best Friends cartridge.  The cake is also embossed with the Swiss Dots folder.  All bling is Stickles!  Enjoy and be inspired!
